National Hurling League Division 3B round-up
Sligo and Mayo both registered one-point wins in Division 3B of the Allianz Hurling League, while Fingal were also victorious.
At Enniscrone, Sligo only managed one second half point from Keith Raymond but it was enough to take a 1-12 to 2-08 win over Monaghan.
The hosts powered into a 1-11 to 0-01 interval advantage, with Raymond (0-07) and Declan Loughnane (1-02) leading the charge. Ronan Meegan hit two second half goals for Monaghan.
Meanwhile, Mayo conjured up a 3-12 to 2-14 triumph over Louth at Dowdallshill. Derek McConn, Niall Murphy and Darren McTighe netted Mayo's goals.
In Letterkenny, Fingal beat a determined Donegal side by 1-13 to 1-07. The Tir Chonaill men led by 1-04 to 0-05 at half-time, but the Dublin outfit were strongest on the restart.
