National Hurling League Division 4 round-up
South Down, Longford and Tyrone all registered away victories in Division 4 of the Allianz Hurling League this afternoon.
At Enniskillen, Fermanagh were made pay for a poor first half showing as South Down claimed a 4-13 to 2-11 win.
Eoin McGuinness was the hat-trick hero for the visitors as they picked up their second win of the campaign.
Two late goals from Ryan Bogue and Mark Slevin put a late gloss on the final scoreline for Fermanagh.
It was a first defeat for Rory O'Donnell's charges after back-to-back wins over Cavan and Longford.
Longford performed strongly on away soil as they gained a hard-earned 2-15 to 3-8 victory over Leitrim at Pairc Sean Mac Diarmada in Carrick-on-Shannon.
Cavan suffered the biggest defeat of the day when crumbling to a 4-23 to 1-6 defeat at the hands of Tyrone at Kingspan Breffni Park.
The Breffni County side are still without a win in the competition to date.
