Munster club final a Cork-Kerry affair
Dr Crokes and Nemo Rangers will contest the 2010 AIB Munster Club SFC final, following their respective semi-final wins over Aherlow and Stradbally this afternoon.
At Leahy Park in Cashel, Dr Crokes were in superb form as they registered a 2-11 to 0-9 win over Tipperary champions Aherlow.
However, the Kerry side needed extra-time to seal their place in the final which will take place on December 5.
Aherlow, who are managed by Liam Kearns, had Cathal Dillon sent off but gave it their all - particularly during an action-packed opening half-hour, at the end of which they led by 0-6 to 0-3.
The sides were level at 1-5 to 0-8 by the end of normal time.
Crokes proved the stronger in extra-time with a blunder from Aherlow goalkeeper Brian Moroney leading to Crokes' second goal.
Meanwhile, Cork kingpins Nemo Rangers qualified for their first final since 2007 following a 1-12 to 1-5 win over Waterford side Stradbally at Pairc Ui Rinn.
Nemo were helped on their way by a first half penalty from David Kearney, while Stradbally had defender Eddie Rockett sent-off.
