Positive news for Walsh and Kilkenny

Kilkenny defender Tommy Walsh received a welcome boost when results of X-rays on his shoulder injury came through yesterday.

The scans revealed no serious damage to the shoulder he injured in a clash with county colleague Jackie Tyrrell in a club match on Sunday.
