Wins for Tyrone and Kildare ladies

Tyrone bounced back from their Ulster championship disappointment with a comprehensive victory against Leitrim in Sunday’s TG4 All-Ireland Ladies senior football championship round one qualifier at Shannon Gaels, Cavan.

The Red Hands, provincial champions in 2009, hammered the Westerners by 6-22 to 2-9 as cousins Lynda and Cathy Donnelly scored four goals between them.
