Cork Senior Football manager Conor Counihan has named an unchanged side for Sunday’s All-Ireland SFC Round 3 qualifier against Wexford at Wexford Park (3.30pm).

Midfielders Alan O’Connor and Aidan Walsh have both shaken off the knocks which forced their substitution in last Saturday’s facile win over Cavan and are in the starting line-up.

Meanwhile, Paul Kerrigan has recovered from a hamstring injury which forced him to miss that Round 2 qualifier clash at Pairc Ui Chaoimh.

However, the 23-year old Nemo Rangers clubman is forced to be content with a place on the bench.

Meanwhile, Wexford manager Jason Ryan is set to name his starting 15 for Sunday’s game on Friday night.

Cork and Wexford have not met in the All-Ireland Championship since 1894, when Wexford, represented by Young Irelands beat Cork, represented by Dromtariffe by 1-1 to 0-1 in what was the 1893 All-Ireland decider.

CORK (All-Ireland SFC v Wexford): Alan Quirke; Ray Carey, Graham Canty, Jamie O’Sullivan; John Miskella, Michael Shields, Paudie Kissane; Alan O’Connor, Aidan Walsh; Fintan Goold, Pearse O’Neill, Patrick Kelly; Daniel Goulding, Ciaran Sheehan, Colm O’Neill.
