Three changes for Offaly footballers
Offaly manager Tom Cribbin has made three changes to his side for Saturday's All-Ireland SFC second round qualifier against Waterford in Tullamore (throw-in 5pm).
John Coughlan returns from suspension to partner Richie Dalton at midfield. The St. Sylvester's, Dublin clubman was ruled out of Offaly's qualifier win over Clare, having picked up a straight red card in the Leinster Championship defeat to Meath.
Coughlan comes into the side at the expense of Brian Geraghty, who scored a point in the 2-18 to 1-18 extra-time win over the Banner men.
There are a number of positional switches in the Faithfuls' defence, with Edenderry's Sean Pender in at left corner back and team captain Karol Slattery moving to the full-back line.
Niall Darby switches wings in the half-back line, with Paraic Sullivan the player to lose out.
Up front, Clara's Graham Guilfoyle is introduced to the Offaly attack at right half-forward, with John Reynolds losing out.
Guilfoyle sent the game against Clare to extra-time, following his introduction as a second half substitute.
This weekend will see Offaly aiming to put back-to-back All-Ireland qualifier victories together for the first time since 2003.
OFFALY (SFC v Waterford): Alan Mulhall; Brian Darby, Scott Brady, Sean Pender; Niall Darby, Ross Brady, Karol Slattery (capt); Richie Dalton, John Coughlan; Graham Guilfoyle, Brian Connor, Ciaran McManus; Ken Casey, Anton Sullivan, Niall McNamee.
