Kerry keep O’Mahony in reserve
Aidan O'Mahony, who returned to the Kerry panel last week, will be on the substitutes bench for Sunday's Munster SFC final against Limerick in Killarney (throw-in 2pm).
Defender O'Mahony decided to withdraw himself from the squad in April, citing 'personal reasons', but could make a title-winning return this weekend.
The Kingdom are heavy favourites to be crowned Munster champions for the first time since 2007, having dethroned the current title holders Cork after a replay.
Their manager Jack O'Connor has made just one change to the team that earned a 1-15 to 1-14 victory over the Rebels, with last year's captain Darran O'Sullivan gaining a recall to the half-forward line.
O'Sullivan is an indirect replacement for David Moran whose place at midfield has been taken by Anthony Maher, Kerry's right half-forward last time out.
This will be the reigning All-Ireland champions' fourth outing of the 2010 Championship, after their opening round win over Tipp and two duels with Cork.
Team captain Bryan Sheehan is their top scorer to date, with 2-14 (0-9f, 0-2 '45'), and Colm Cooper (0-15, 0-10f), Kieran Donaghy (1-2) and impact substitute Barry John Keane (0-5) have also impressed in front of goal.
