Brogan and Quinn added to Dublin attack

Manager Pat Gilroy has made four changes to the Dublin team for Sunday's Leinster SFC semi-final showdown with Meath at Croke Park (throw-in 4pm).

Two of the alterations are in the half-back line where Ger Brennan replaces Denis Bastick and Bryan Cullen comes in for Cian O'Sullivan.

Bastick misses out after being sent-off for a straight red card in the Dubs' extra-time win over Wexford. A hamstring injury forced O'Sullivan to made an early exit against the Model County side.

Elsewhere in defence, Rory O'Carroll continues at full-back in a busy week for the Kilmacud Crokes clubman.

O'Carroll played a full 60 minutes for the Dublin Under-21 hurlers in their Leinster semi-final win over Kilkenny on Wednesday night.

Both of Gilroy's other changes are in attack, with Alan Brogan making his first Championship start of the year at centre-forward and Tomas Quinn, who scored four points as an extra-time substitute against Wexford, listed in the left corner.

2010 captain David Henry and Kevin McManamon are the players to miss out.

The Dublin substitutes will not be confirmed until shortly before the throw-in.

Sunday's clash is the 59th Championship meeting between Dublin and Meath, with their rivalry stretching back to 1894 when they met for the first time in a game which finished level at 0-4 apiece.

The Dubs, who lead 32-18 in the head-to-head, have beaten the Royals four times and drawn once in their last five encounters.

A win this weekend would leave Gilroy's men just 70 minutes away from securing their sixth successive Leinster SFC title - something the Metropolitans have not achieved since 1979.

DUBLIN (SFC v Meath): S Cluxton; M Fitzsimons, Rory O'Carroll, P McMahon; G Brennan, B Cullen, B Cahill; E Fennell, R McConnell; P Flynn, A Brogan, N Corkery; C Keaney, B Brogan, T Quinn.
