Tyrone manager Mickey Harte has made two changes to his team for Saturday's Ulster SFC semi-final showdown with Down at Casement Park (throw-in 5.15pm).

Conor Gormley returns to the Tyrone side at centre-back, having missed the four-point win over Antrim due to a knee injury.

He replaces All-Star defender Ryan McMenamin who is not risked due to a slight hamstring strain.

There is also a first Championship start for Peter Harte, nephew of Mickey. He comes in at wing back for his cousin, Davy Harte, who has been nursing an injury.

Both McMenamin and Davy Harte are listed among the substitutes.

Meanwhile, Sean Cavanagh will play his 50th championship game, lining out at centre forward, and is flanked by the experienced Brian Dooher and Joe McMahon.

TYRONE (SFC v Down): P McConnell; M Swift, Justin McMahon, D Carlin; P Harte, C Gormley, P Jordan; C Cavanagh, K Hughes; B Dooher, S Cavanagh, Joe McMahon; M Penrose, S O'Neill, O Mulligan.
