Qualifier fixtures announced
The dates, times and venues for the first round of the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship qualifiers and phase 1 of the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship qualifiers have been announced.
The plum all-Ulster clash between Armagh and Donegal will take place at St Oliver Plunkett Park in Crossmaglen on Saturday week, with a 3.30pm start, and is live on RTÉ Television.
There are 5pm starts on the same day for Offaly against Clare at O'Connor Park in Tullamore, and the Carlow v Derry encounter at Dr Cullen Park.
The latter game will be the curtain-raiser to the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship preliminary round meeting of Carlow and Laois at 7pm.
Elsewhere, there are 7pm starts for the following All-Ireland SFC qualifiers - Kildare v Antrim at Newbridge, Longford v Mayo at Pearse Park in Longford and Cavan v Wicklow at Kingspan Breffni Park.
Meanwhile, the losers of the Laois v Meath Leinster SFC quarter-final replay at Tullamore next Saturday (throw-in 7pm) will face a trip to Semple Stadium in Thurles to take on Tipperary.
Should Meath lose that Leinster replay, the first round qualifier game will be on Saturday week at 7pm in Thurles. If Laois are involved, the tie will take place at 3.30pm on Sunday week in Thurles.
The phase 1 All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship dates have also been confirmed, with Antrim hosting the winners of Carlow v Laois on Saturday, July 3 at Casement Park.
Semple Stadium in Thurles will be the venue for the Tipperary v Wexford clash which will be broadcast live on RTÉ Television. Both games have 3.30pm throw-ins.
