Donaghy starts for Kingdom
Kieran Donaghy has recovered from a groin strain to be named in the Kerry team for Sunday's Munster SFC semi-final showdown with Cork.
Donaghy will start the Killarney clash (throw-in 4pm) in his usual full-forward position, while centre back Mike McCarthy has also shaken off an Achilles injury to retain his starting berth.
But 2009 Footballer of the Year Paul Galvin, who suffered a recurrence of an ankle injury in training last week, is only fit enough for a place on the bench. He did not train with the Kerry panel last night.
The eagerly-awaited provincial derby has come too soon for the Finuge clubman, despite Kerry manager Jack O'Connor anticipating that he would be able to start.
Galvin's place in the Kerry attack has been taken by last year's All-Ireland winning captain Darran O'Sullivan, which is the only change to the side that beat Tipperary by 2-18 to 2-6 in the first round.
