Treacy ruled out for Dublin
Cuala clubman David Treacy will take no part in Dublin's Leinster SHC quarter-final clash with Laois at Nowlan Park on Sunday (throw-in 3.30pm).
He is looking at another month on the sidelines as he struggles to recover from a hamstring injury which he picked up against Galway recently.
Treacy aggravated the injury when playing for the Dublin Under-21s against the senior side in an internal training match last Saturday.
He is a considerable loss for Dubs manager Anthony Daly as he was an All-Star nominee in his first full season in the senior set-up last year.
Daly also has concerns over another key forward, David 'Dotsy' O'Callaghan, who is due to be assessed by physios before the team announcement on Friday.
But full-back Tomas Brady, who has had ligament damage, and wing forward Peter Kelly (hamstring) are back in contention after featuring in last Wednesday's 2-16 to 1-13 challenge match win over Clare.
