Cavan GAA received a timely boost ahead of their Cadbury Ulster U-21 football final tonight, with the news that Paul Brady was today named the Vodafone GAA Handballer of the Year.

Cavan GAA received a timely boost ahead of their Cadbury Ulster U-21 football final tonight, with the news that Paul Brady was today named the Vodafone GAA Handballer of the Year.

Brady who also lines out for Cavan senior footballers was along with referees Diarmuid Kirwan and Marty Duffy and monthly recipients David Tubridy (Clare football) and Pat Horgan (Cork hurling) honoured by Vodafone and the GAA this afternoon at a ceremony in Dublin.
