Armagh and Down unchanged for Division 2 clash
Armagh manager Paddy O'Rourke and his Down counterpart James McCartan have kept faith with the starting line-ups which overcame Kildare and Donegal respectively last weekend, for tomorrow's Allianz NFL Division 2 clash at Pairc Esler in Newry (throw-in 7.30pm).
It is battle of two Down natives, with O'Rourke having managed Down previously to Ross Carr, while McCartan is the new man at the helm in the Mourne County.
O'Rourke has been pleased with his side's displays in the league to date, which have seen them go unbeaten in their last three games.
"I'm very happy with the way the league is progressing," O'Rourke told the Armagh GAA website.
"Obviously we are disappointed that we didn't get something out of our first game (against Meath), but we are happy that we got a good performance - even though we didn't get points on the board.
"Since then we have steadily got better and hopefully that's the way it will continue."
There is plenty at stake on Saturday night, as these keen Ulster rivals meet in a top of the table encounter, but O'Rourke has lessened the importance of it to his players.
"It's just another game, it doesn't matter who we are playing on Saturday," added the Armagh boss.
"We are sitting a point off the top of the table, and we would like to go to the top of the table, but it is just another game."
Meanwhile, the GAA has confirmed that stand tickets for the game have been sold out, but that terrace tickets are still available.
Tickets are available from both county boards and a range of other outlets in both counties.
