Four changes for Cork

Bishopstown clubman Ken O'Halloran will make his NFL debut for Cork in Saturday's Division 1 duel with Galway at Pairc Ui Rinn (throw-in 7.30pm).

Paddy O'Shea, who started the recent win over Kerry, makes way for O'Halloran who has another newcomer to this level alongside him in left corner back Eoin Cotter.

Cotter captained Cork to the 2005 Munster minor title and comes into a Rebels defence missing dual player Eoin Cadogan, who is suspended following his sending-off against the Kingdom.

Key defenders Anthony Lynch, Grahan Canty and John Miskella are still sidelined through injury.

Recent league debutant Noel Galvin, who was also dismissed against Kerry for a second bookable offence, and Aidan Walsh both miss out on selection, with Noel O'Leary set to make his first start of the season at left half-back.

Rebels boss Conor Counihan has rejigged his forward lines, adding Colm O'Neill at the top of the left.

Paul Kerrigan and Donncha O'Connor have also been switched back into the half-forward line, but a fair bit of tinkering can be expected after the throw-in.

Noted midfielder Nicholas Murphy has been pencilled in at full-forward for the second time in three league games.

CORK (NFL v Galway) - Ken O'Halloran; Ray Carey, Michael Shields, Eoin Cotter; Paudie Kissane, Ger Spillane, Noel O'Leary; Alan O'Connor, Pearse O'Neill; Paul Kerrigan, Donncha O'Connor, Paddy Kelly; Daniel Goulding, Nicholas Murphy, Colm O'Neill.
