Roscommon's Cox forced to retire

Having been plagued by an ankle injury in recent seasons, Roscommon forward Gary Cox has called time on his inter-county career.

Cox, who captained the Roscommon senior footballers last year, has been coping admirably with a chronic injury in his left ankle.
