GAA seals three-year sponsorship deal with SuperValu

The GAA has confirmed a new three-year GAA Football Championship partnership with SuperValu and its 231 retail partners, beginning for the 2010 season.

The new arrangement, for an undisclosed sum, comes into immediate effect.

This GAA says the announcement comes after a wide-ranging and comprehensive consultative process.

GAA President Christy Cooney said: "This is a major boost to the Association...The arrangement is an excellent fit in so many ways."
