Offaly, Louth, Cavan and Antrim all claimed wins in Division 3 this afternoon as the National Football League kicked into gear.
A Ciaran McManus goal helped pave the way for a 1-13 to 1-10 win for Offaly over Fermanagh at O'Connor Park in Tullamore.
Beginning his 15th NFL campaign for Offaly, McManus was sublime throughout with Ken Casey and John Reynolds (0-4) also impressing for the hosts.
Offaly led by 0-9 to 1-5 at the interval, with Daryl Keenan netting the visitors' goal.
Meanwhile, a doughty Louth side held out for a 0-13 to 1-8 victory over Wexford at Drogheda.
Louth burst into an early 0-5 to 0-2 lead, but only held a 0-6 to 0-5 interval advantage.
Colm Judge, Brian White and Ronan Carroll took excellent scores to keep the hosts on top.
Wexford edged back into contention when a Ciaran Lyng effort dropped short and the advancing Paddy Byrne snuck the ball over the line.
But the influential Judge added his fourth point late on to ensure an opening win for the Wee County outfit.
At Dr Hyde Park, Cavan emerged as 2-20 to 1-10 winners over Roscommon. Donal Shine's 18th-minute goal boosted Fergal O'Donnell's charges in the opening half.
However, his side were held to just four second half points as goals from Eoin McGuigan and Cian Mackey inspired Cavan to a deserved triumph.
A late point from substitute Gerard O'Boyle ensured Antrim ran out as 1-12 to 0-14 winners over Sligo at Casement Park today. Paddy Cunningham netted the only goal for the Saffrons in the opening half.
