Kerry goalkeeper Murphy retires
Kerry manager Jack O'Connor has described the decision of goalkeeper Diarmuid Murphy to retire from inter-county action as leaving a "huge void" after the Dingle native confirmed his decision to retire last night.
The 34-year-old who made 41 Championship appearances for the Kingdom won four All-Ireland titles and six Munster titles during his career, culminating in last September's All-Ireland final win over neighbours Cork at Croke Park.
