GPA chief executive Dessie Farrell believes that a rolling 'closed season' may be the answer to counties flouting the inter-county training ban during November and December.

The decision to abandon 'collective training' for counties during the winter months was taken in a bid to combat burnout, but it has received criticism from a number of quarters.
