New Louth boss finalises backroom team

New Louth senior football manager Peter Fitzpatrick has confirmed his backroom team for his first season in charge, which begins with an O'Byrne Cup tie against Wicklow on January 10.

Martin McQuillan, Johnny McDonnell and Gerry Cumiskey will assist Fitzpatrick as Louth hope to 'consolidate' their position in National League Division 3 and peak for their Leinster Championship preliminary round clash with Longford.

Cumiskey hails from the St. Patrick's club, while former Armagh footballer McQuillan knows the Louth scene having played for Kilkerley for several years.

St. Fechin's clubman McDonnell has past management experience having led the Louth minors.
