Three Ulster club SFC quarter-finals called off

Heavy rain has forced the postponements of three of today's four scheduled Ulster Club Senior Football Championship quarter-finals.

The pitches at Pairc Esler in Newry, St. Tiernach's Park in Clones and Casement Park in Belfast have been ruled unplayable due to the adverse weather conditions.

The Kilcoo v St. Eunan's, Clontibret v Dromore and St. Gall's v Pearse Og clashes have been postponed until next Sunday.

The only Ulster Club SFC game still on is the meeting of Derry champions The Loup and Derrygonnelly from Fermanagh at Celtic Park (throw-in 2.30pm).

There is a busy schedule of club GAA action around the country today, with the mouth-watering Munster Club SHC meeting of Thurles Sarsfields and Newtownshandrum being televised live on TG4.
