ULSTER CLUB SHC SEMI-FINAL:

Ballycran (Down) 2-17 Kevin Lynch's (Derry) 2-13

Following a lively semi-final encounter at Casement Park this afternoon, Down champions Ballycran advanced to meet Dunloy in the Ulster Club SHC final thanks to a four-point win.

The Down outfit showed the early initiative with an excellent goal from James Coyle, but Kevin Lynch's bounced back thanks to a Liam Craig three-pointer to ensure a 1-8 to 1-6 interval scoreline.

Lynch's pressed on after the break. Just three minutes in, Paddy McCloskey equalised with a well-taken goal.

However, Ballycran rallied strongly with Coyle finding the back of the Derry champions' net for a second time in the 36th minute as his side gave themselves a shot at provincial glory.
