ROSCOMMON SHC FINAL:

Four Roads 2-15 Oran 2-4

Four Roads eased to their 27th Roscommon SHC title thanks to a comfortable 11-point win over Oran at Athleague this afternoon.

Team captain Ronnie Kennedy led by example with goals in either half, with his first ensuring a 1-5 to 0-1 advantage at the end of the first quarter.

Oran tried their utmost and bounced back into contention with two well-taken goals, however Four Roads always held a slight edge.

They failed to relinquish their lead on the restart, with Kennedy netting a second goal and David Dolan taking his impressive personal haul to seven points.

Despite hitting 14 wides throughout the final, Four Roads stayed on top for back-to-back title wins and a sixth Roscommon crown this decade.
