12 Kerry players nominated for All Star awards

All-Ireland champions Kerry dominate the nominations for this year's All Star football awards.

Twelve of the players that picked up winners' medals with the Kingdom last Sunday are on the list, including Tadhg Kennelly, who only returned from Australia eights months ago.

All-Ireland runners up Cork have 10 nominations, Tyrone have five and Dublin four.

Elsewhere, Kerry duo Paul Galvin and Tomas O Se are also in the running for the Footballer of the Year award along with Cork's Graham Canty.

The Young Footballer of the Year will be decided between Donegal's Michael Murphy, Cork's Colm O'Neill and Mayo's Aidan O'Shea.
