Competition for places spurs Larkin on

All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship finals are just like birthdays for Kilkenny forward Eoin Larkin. You are usually showered with gifts when they come around, and you only have to wait 12 months before the next one.

That has been the case for the James Stephens clubman and his all-conquering county colleagues over the past decade - and Larkin is hopeful of more rewards this Sunday in the shape of a fourth All-Ireland SHC winner's medal.
