AFL pulls out of International Rules ties
The AFL has pulled out of the International Rules series scheduled for later this year.
The two-game series was due to take place at the end of October in Limerick and Dublin.
GAA president Christy Cooney says he is disappointed with the Australians' decision, which has been made due to a lack of funds.
However, he says he has received a written commitment from the AFL that the games will go ahead at the same venues in 2010.
