Same again for Mourne men
Down manager Ross Carr has kept faith with the starting fifteen which beat Laois last weekend for tomorrow's All-Ireland SFC third round qualifier against Wicklow at Aughrim (throw-in 3pm).
This year's Down Under-21 football captain Timmy Hanna is once again named at right-half-back after impressing against Laois in only his second championship start, kicking two points.
Having formed a solid partnership last time out in the middle of the pitch, Dan Gordon and Stephen Kearney will link up again at midfield.
Meanwhile, Benny Coulter and Paul McComiskey, the two goal scorers in the 2-09 to 0-07 defeat of Laois, will line out alongside Daniel Hughes in a dangerous-looking full-forward line.
Tomorrow's game will be the first ever Senior Championship clash between Down and Wicklow.
It is the first time Wicklow have reached this stage of the All-Ireland qualifiers after home wins over Fermanagh and Cavan in the previous rounds.
Following a three-point loss to Fermanagh in the Ulster Championship, Down got their season back on track with qualifier wins over London and Laois and now become the third Ulster side to visit Aughrim in the space of a fortnight.
