Football qualifier draw revealed
The all-Ulster clash of Donegal and Derry is the highlight of the Round 3 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship qualifier draw made live on TV tonight.
Following victory over Clare yesterday John Joe Doherty's Donegal will have home advantage at McCumhaill Park, Ballybofey.
It's the only confirmed pairing which involves teams from the same provinces, although Meath may face Wexford. The Slaneysiders drew with Roscommon yesterday, with that replay due for decision next weekend, while the winners will visit Pairc Tailteann, Navan the following weekend.
Following qualification for the last 16 for the first time since the inception of the All-Ireland football qualifiers in 2001, Mick O'Dwyer's Wicklow will host Down in Aughrim.
The fourth pairing will see Sligo travel to Kerry to face last year's beaten All-Ireland finalists.
The winners of the round 3 football qualifiers will meet the beaten provincial finalists - Limerick and Kildare have already been beaten in Munster and Leinster respectively.
They will be joined by the losers of Antrim-Tyrone in Ulster, and beaten Connacht finalists Galway or Mayo. The Ulster and Connacht deciders take place next Sunday.
The GAA will confirm venues and times for the Round 3 football qualifier games and the Wexford/Roscommon replay in the morning.
