Former Kildare chairman backs GPA pursuit of grants and official recognition

Former Kildare County Board chairman and current Labour TD Jack Wall has backed the call of the Gaelic Players Association to retain the Government grants scheme, and also the GPA's quest for official recognition by the GAA.

"I was Chairman of the Kildare County Board for 11 years, at a time when I expected something like the GPA to eventual come on board," he said.
