The GAA has set a deadline of September 30 by which it hopes agreement can be reached with the GPA to formally recognise the Gaelic Players Association.

At a press briefing today in Croke Park, GAA President Christy Cooney outlined the GAA's position on formal recognition, with a six-page document produced, including an annex specifically dealing with the GAA's discussions with the GPA on formal recognition.
