Dooher returns for Tyrone

All-Ireland champions Tyrone received a timely boost last night as captain Brian Dooher returned to action.

Dooher who had been out with several injury problems since the counties third Sam Maguire success in 2008 featured for Clan Na Gael in the Tyrone Intermediate championship first round.

The veteran played the full 60 minutes and contributed two points, however his side lost to Eskra.

Club mate Stephen O'Neill though played no part in the championship tussle.

Tyrone open the defence of their All-Ireland at the end of the month against Armagh.
