Division 3B round-up
London ended up as the only unbeaten side across all divisions of the Allianz National Hurling League, after a 1-16 to 0-10 Division 3B victory over Donegal at Ruislip.
With a league final place already secured, the Exiles could afford to ease off the pedal a little bit, after a 38-point win over Longford in the previous round.
London will face Roscommon in the Division 3B decider despite the westerners losing by five points to Fingal by 4-13 to 1-17 at Swords.
Due to Roscommon's superior scoring difference, the Dublin outfit needed a comfortable 23-point win to secure a final berth but this game was tight throughout with Fingal edging a 1-6 to 0-8 half-time lead.
Roscommon took a 0-12 to 1-7 advantage within seven minutes of the restart but despite Fingal setting off on a goal rush, their efforts were not enough to qualify for the May 2 decider.
Meanwhile, Louth ensured they finished mid-table with a 0-24 to 0-9 win over second-from-bottom Tyrone at Dundalk.
Despite the comfortable nature of Louth's victory, it was Tyrone who maintained a three-point lead early on thanks to the good work of midfielder Jimmy Treacey who top-scored for the visitors with seven points.
But Louth exerted a strong comeback with Ronan Byrne on target to ensure the sides were tied at 0-7 apiece at the break.
This was only the start for the hosts who burst 0-18 to 0-7 clear with 15 minutes remaining, with Tyrone held to just two second half points as Louth took a 15-point win.
