Four-week ban for McGuigan

Tyrone right corner forward Tommy McGuigan has picked up a four-week suspension that will keep him out of action until May.

The Tyrone player has been banned for a month by the Central Hearings Committee for ‘striking with the knee’ in a league match against Derry at the end of March.

McGuigan has the option to appeal this decision with the Central Appeals Committee.

The Red Hand County play Mayo in the last round of League games on Sunday with their Division 1 survival hanging in the balance.
