Cork clubs vote for McCarthy to be replaced
Members of around 200 clubs in Cork have voted for Gerald McCarthy to be replaced as the county's senior hurling manager.
The ballot took place last night at a meeting between club representatives and the striking 2008 panel.
The players are refusing to play while McCarthy is still in charge and the county's footballers have also threatened to join the strike if the situation is not resolved before the end of this year's Allianz Leagues.
