GAA to make last-ditch bid to solve Cork row
GAA officials are to hold an emergency meeting today in a bid to find a solution to the Cork hurling crisis.
The move is being seen as a last-ditch attempt to solve the impasse between the 2008 squad and the county board over the appointment of manager Gerald McCarthy.
The latest development in the dispute has seen Youghal - the home club of incoming GAA president Christy Cooney - voting to back the striking hurlers.
