Meeting to appoint Offaly football manager scheduled

The search for a new Offaly senior football manager has taken a major leap forward today.

A special County Board meeting has been called for this evening with the only item on the agenda being the appointment of Richie Connors replacement.

Several names have been linked to the vacant position this week with Tom Cribben the latest to be mentioned.

Tonight's meeting gets underway at O'Connor Park in Tullamore at 8pm.
