Six newcomers in Galway team to face Kilkenny

Galway manager John McIntyre has included six league newcomers in his side to face All-Ireland champions Kilkenny in the NHL on Sunday.

Colm Callanan, who has featured in the championship for the Tribesmen, makes his league debut between the posts.

Shane Kavanagh, Damien McClearn and Ciaran O’Donovan also form a new-look full-back line, while Martin Ryan starts at corner back and Cyril Donnellan will line out at corner-forward.
