Dublin progress to Walsh Shield final

Anthony Daly's Dublin set up a Walsh Shield final clash with Offaly next weekend, courtesy of a six-point win over Laois at Abbeyleix.

Alan McCrabbe (0-07), David O'Callaghan (0-06) and Shane Durkin (0-02) were impressive for a Dublin side that held a 0-10 to 0-05 half-time lead.

The hosts rallied with a Willie Hyland goal from a close range free, pulling it back to 0-15 to 1-05.

However, 'Dotsy' O'Callaghan kept the visitors on top as they held out for a deserved victory.
