Louth blow Wicklow away

Louth blew Wicklow away in the second half of this O'Byrne Cup semi-final, with goalscorers Shane Lennon and Darren Clarke very much to the fore.

Lennon converted a 14th-minute penalty at Drogheda but Wicklow, who had Wayne Callaghan yellow-carded, netted through Dean Odlum as they fought back to level at 1-06 apiece at half-time.

Nonetheless, Louth, with JP Rooney showing good form and Clarke bulging the net, dominated the second period and Wicklow ended it with 14 men after Seanie Furlong's dismissal.
