Fermanagh edged out UUJ in an exciting Dr McKenna Cup clash at Brewster Park tonight.

Scoring their first win in Section A, the Ernesiders recovered from having Ryan McCloskey sent-off and Martin McGrath yellow carded.

Ciaran Donnelly grabbed an early UUJ goal, but a fisted Enda Ferris effort reduced the visitors' lead to 1-05 to 1-02 by half-time.

UUJ had three players yellow carded – Aidan Girvan, Niall McKeever and goalscorer Donnelly – and late points from Michael Jones and Paul Ward saw Fermanagh come out on top.
