DCU beat DIT to secure semi-final spot

Mayo's Conor Moritmer top-scored with 0-06 as DCU braved heavy rain and gale force winds in Glasnevin to secure an O'Byrne Cup semi-final spot.

DIT made the better start to this capital clash thanks to the industrious work of Dublin star Mark Vaughan (0-02), and led by 0-04 to 0-03 at half-time.

However, Vaughan's side could only manage one more point on the restart from Cavan's Martin O'Reilly as a rampant DCU attack proved to be sharper in front of the posts.
