Kildare trounced by DIT in Kehoe Cup

DIT avenged last year's Kehoe Cup defeat to Kildare with a nine-point win over the hosts at Newbridge.

Kildare began brightly and led by 2-05 to 0-04 at half-time with goals from Niall O'Muineachain and David Harney.

But the students taught the hosts a lesson with Paul Ryan slotting the first of three second-half goals to the net.

Kildare scored only one second-half point, as the DIT students ran rampant with a late Eamon Clarke goal sealing the issue.
