Corofin topple Castlerea

Corofin gave a strong attacking display in the second half of today's Connacht SFC Semi-Final to see off Roscommon champions Castlerea in an entertaining encounter at Kiltoom.

The former All-Ireland Club SFC Champions began this game strongly leading by 0-04 to 0-01 at the end of the opening quarter, although the sides were level at 0-05 apiece at the interval.

Castlerea took the lead on the restart, but Corofin took scores from all angles in the second half with 34-year old Trevor Burke giving an outstanding performance with Alan O'Donovan top-scoring with 1-03.
