Munster earn place in Railway Cup final

Munster 2-14 Ulster 1-12

Munster have booked their place in the M Donnelly interprovincial hurling final with a 2-14 to 1-12 win over Ulster in Fermoy.

Munster had led by 2-5 to 0-5 points at the interval thanks to goals from Waterford's Eoin Kelly and Tipperary's Seamus Callinan.

Ulster fought back in the second half and Antrim's Shane McNaughton beat Tipperary goalkeeper Brendan Cummins to put the northern province back in touch.

However, Munster rallied late and held out to secure a place in the Railway Cup final.
