The Irish International Rules Squad trained in 35 degree temperatures in Australia today after a gruelling flight from Dublin that only landed in the early hours of this morning.

Six further GAA players are now en route out to the training camp in Western Australia, which is experiencing the second highest ever October temperature ever recorded in the region.

New arrivals Sean Cavanagh, Killian Young, Benny Coulter, Tom Parsons, Aaron Kernan and Ciaran McKeever all had weekend club commitments.

Afterwards, manager Sean Boylan told the Irish media he had no complaints though as he got down to the business of readying the 2008 Coca Cola International Rules squad for Friday's first test.
