Galway hurlers back Leinster Championship proposal

Galway hurlers have come out in support of the proposed motion which could see the county compete in next year's Leinster Championship.

The Galway senior hurling panel gave 100% support to the Hurling Development Committee's much-debated proposal last night.

A special convention tonight in Athenry will decide whether the county board will vote in favour of the controversial change.
