Lyng and Dooher named players of the month

Derek Lyng of Kilkenny and Tyrone captain Brian Dooher, have been named Opel players of the month for August in hurling and football respectively.

Lyng has been one of the stars of this year's championship, helping the Cats to a third consecutive hurling title last Sunday in Croke Park.
