Cork to face Tyrone in Ladies senior football semi-final
Reigning champions Cork have been pitted against Tyrone in the semi-finals of the 2008 TG4 All-Ireland Ladies senior football championship.
Saturday evening's draw at Dr Hyde Park in Roscommon pitted the Rebelettes against the Red Hands in what should be an absorbing encounter next weekend.
Cork and Tyrone both came through their quarter-final ties with relative ease at rain-sodden Dr Hyde Park on Saturday.
Tyrone recorded an emphatic 2-12 to 0-9 victory over Leinster champions Dublin in the opening game while Cork, powered by the magnificent Juliette Murphy, followed up with a 2-11 to 1-7 victory against gallant Galway.
Meanwhile, former winners Monaghan and Mayo have been pitted against each other in the other semi-final.
Both teams came through their quarter-final ties against Sligo and Kerry respectively at Croke Park last weekend.
